1.1 Subsafe Audio, Subsafe Audio Protection, Subsafe Audio Limited, Subsafe Audio Ltd, www.subsafeaudio.com and its derivatives are registered trademarks of Subsafe Audio Limited. Our terms are subject to change at any time and without warning.
1.2 Subsafe Audio maintain the ownership of all designed cutting files and all rights to designed Subsafes. Subsafe Audio maintain the right to not sending any design cutting files to any customer. This is due to Subsafe Audio using the most up to date computer programmes.
1.3 Any photographs featuring any ordered Subsafe can be used for promotional and marketing purposes by Subsafe without permission of the customer.
1.4 Any prizes awarded by Subsafe are non–transferable and there is no cash alternative. Subsafe Audio reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.
1.5 If a purchase is made at a trade show or other transactions made face to face, purchasing of a Subsafe deems acceptance of the terms and conditions.
1.6 Subsafe Audio may have time away from the office/workshop at various times throughout the year due to trade shows/holidays. This will delay the order and delivery process however Subsafe will update pending customers regarding this. Subsafe will be operating a restricted service for 2 weeks during the Christmas/New Year holiday season.
1.7 Subsafe Audio primary function is a protective device to prevent and deter damage happening to equipment.
1.8 These terms and conditions contain the entire agreement between you (the customer) and Subsafe Audio.com relating to your purchase. You are responsible for reading all information in these terms and conditions fully. If any of these terms are held to be invalid or unenforceable, those terms will be struck out and the other terms remain.

1.11 THESE TERMS ARE BINDING: Please read these terms carefully and make sure that you understand them before using the website including to use any Services and/or order any Products. If you do not understand any of these terms you can ask us to explain them further using the email address given above. Your use of the website indicates your unconditional agreement that you accept and agree to be bound by the terms in effect at the time of usage regardless of whether or not you choose to register with the Website. We may alter all or any part of these terms (including the products and services which are available from the website) at any time. If you do not accept the terms, you should not use the website. You should review these terms regularly as your continued use of the website means you accept the terms as modified. Please understand that if you refuse to accept the terms, you will not be able to order any products from the website.
You should print a copy of these terms for future reference.
1.13 Subsafe act as a reseller for Rock n Roller and do not hold any physical stock. Prices can change at any time.
1.14 Subsafe will contact the customer via the email address that has been provided. It is the customers sole responsibility to check their inbox and their spam/junk folder for emails that Subsafe have sent.
2.1 Subsafe Audio make every effort to guarantee that the information enclosed on the website and websites materials are accurate, up to date and honest. Although assurances are made, Subsafe Audio do not make any warranty that the website is error free or free from I nfection by viruses, Trojans, worms or anything that might have destructive properties. Should any errors or omissions be found, Subsafe Audio will endeavour to correct them as quickly as practically possible.
2.2 Subsafe Audio does not accept any liability for errors and omissions and reserves the right to amend, update or change the information, specifications and description of listed goods, products, prices and services.
2.3 Subsafe Audio does not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of the use of the website or from using any products or services from the website.
2.4 Subsafe Audio will only be liable for direct loss up to a maximum total of the price of the order or service purchased in respect of the claim.
2.5 This above mentioned liability section applies only to the extent permitted by law.
2.6 Subsafe are not liable for any scratches incurred after receipt of order and it is the customers responsibility for care of received Subsafe’s. Any scratches to orders does not effect the product and no refunds or discounts will apply to any Subsafe.
2.7 Stock levels can change at any time for all Rock n Roller products. The stock levels we show are in good faith however may not be accurate as they are stocked at our dealers in England.
3.1 It is illegal to reproduce any of the images, content or layout featured on subsafeaudio.com and its affiliates without written consent.
3.2 All contents and information on this site including without limitation text, graphic and images, is the property of Subsafe Audio or the property of their respective owners and is protected by United Kingdom, European Union and United States copyright laws.
3.3 By uploading, posting, contributing or including any content or material in a personalised product, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, distribute and communicate to the public that content or material solely for the purpose of performing obligations and exercising rights under these terms.
4.1 Subsafe Audio uses online payment gateway Stripe or Square for Credit and Debit card transactions. We do not store any of your credit or debit card details. Stripe will not provide any of your personal information, including credit or debit card information to any third party. All payments made by credit/debit card take 7 days to transfer to Subsafe bank account. Upon receipt of this payment, the status will be updated accordingly.
4.2 If the customer pays via credit/debit card or Paypal, a 4% charge will be applied. This will show as “postage & packaging” and is not connected in any way to shipping charges. No orders will be sent until the correct shipping charges have been fully paid.
4.3 If orders are placed and full monies have not been received within 14 days of order being placed then the orders will be cancelled without any notification.
4.4 Any discounts that were applicable at the time of the order, once order has been cancelled due to full payment not being received, are forfeited and are no longer valid.
4.41 Discounts can be discontinued at any time and no notification will be given. Subsafe do not need to explain reasons or held liable if the discount no longer is valid.
4.5 You undertake that all details that you provide to us for the purpose of ordering goods, are correct and that the credit/debit card account are your own and have sufficient funds to cover the cost of the order.
4.6 No orders will be placed with the manufacturer until the final proof is signed off via Adobe E-Sign by the customer and Subsafe Audio.
4.7 The term “Customisation Form” refers to the Custom and Standard customisation forms. This is a vital step in the customer journey. This is in place to ensure that the customer requirements are incorporated into the final design.
4.8 All payments are verified against the address in which the debit/credit card is registered to. All orders are dispatched to the address provided in the optional address delivery field. It is your responsibility to ensure that this address is correct at time of order.
4.9 Subsafe Audio are not responsible for the payment of any import tax incurred by delivery to the customer, both within the UK & overseas.
4.10 Upon ordering a Subsafe, the customer will receive a confirmation email regarding their purchase. It is the customers responsibility to check their email inbox and junk/spam folder to ensure they have received this. Subsafe are not responsible for chasing customers to complete their customisation form. Further emails will be sent at the discretion of Subsafe should they not receive the customers customisation form.
5.1 Proofs will be sent via PDF to the customer for any amendments and manufacturing of orders will not be commenced until the final proof has been signed via Adobe E-sign. Upon digitally signing the customers proof via Adobe E-sign, the customer confirms that you they are satisfied with the final design and fully accepts all work carried out by Subsafe Audio. When the proof is digitally signed, the design will be sent to the manufacturer. Subsafe accepts no liability for any design work approved after this point.
5.2 Upon receipt of the final proof via Adobe E-Sign, the customer must ensure that they fully check their proof for any amendments that need to be made i.e. artwork, logo, graphics, text, adjustments etc. The customer must also ensure that they are happy with the placement of any holes or cut outs on their Subsafe. Upon signing of the final proof, the customer is fully happy with their design and any adjustments/amendments/corrections after this will be at the customer’s expense. Subsafe is not liable/held responsible for any errors or alterations after this point and will not reimburse/refund customers any monies. The customer signs via Adobe E-sign to agree to these terms and conditions.
5.3 Prior to ordering, the customer must check with Subsafe Audio to ensure that the size required for their subwoofer is the one that is being ordered. Subsafe will not be held responsible for any incorrect order of Subsafe. The customer may have to pay the difference if they order the size below that is ordered. Alternatively, the customer will be refunded if they order a Subsafe that is too large for their required subwoofer. Orders will not be ordered until the correct size of Subsafe is arranged and paid in full.
5.4 It is the customers responsibility to supply Subsafe Audio with the correct dimensions of their subwoofer that they require a Subsafe for. Subsafe hold no responsibility for incorrect dimensions provided
5.5 Subsafe Audio holds no responsibility for incorrect information being provided by either customer or manufacturer of subwoofer or speaker companies. All dimensions provided are taken as being final. No refund will be given for incorrect information provided by a customer or third party person.
5.6 Subsafe Audio are not responsible for the quality of artwork provided by the customer. This includes graphics & logos.
5.7 Any dimensions submitted to Subsafe is regarded as being final. If the pole aperture requires adjusting after design is signed off via Adobe E-Sign, any adjustments to the aperture dimension will incur a fee of £35 for our manufacturer to manually adjust the size. We can not make the aperture smaller than it has been made.
5.8 The customer MUST ensure that the correct width of pole is selected during the customisation form completion. If no pole size is submitted, it is taken that the pole size required is 35mm thus requiring a hole width of 40mm. Subsafe will not be held responsible if a different diameter of hole was required.
5.9 The term “customisation” refers to the “normal” customisation provided by Subsafe Audio. This includes graphics on the panels, logos provided, hole size, hole positioning, cable tidy holes, front and rear holes, length of hinge required.
5.10 Any customisation outwith the “normal” terms of customisation will be subject to a designer charge due to the calculation of the footprint / shape of stacking pole (including speaker shape, lights, etc) is when it is projected on to the Subsafe. This then needs to be amended to accommodate for the thickness of the panels, and in turn a slightly different apex hinge arrangement.
5.11 The designer fee is currently £100 per hour and this will be payable by the customer. Subsafe are not liable for this cost.
5.12 At the time of ordering, the customer must provide the correct model number of speaker system and, if applicable, correct dimensions to Subsafe Audio. The customer must ensure that the correct dimensions are provided or agree that the manufacturers dimensions are correct.
5.13 Subsafe holds no responsibility or liability for incorrect dimensions provided and no refund will be given. Subsafe Audio will not provide any replacement due to incorrect dimensions provided by the customer. Subsafe will not enter into any debates regarding the submitted form values. We would always recommend to check the width (left to right), depth (front to back) and pole position (back of the sub to the middle of the pole hole on sub) using a measuring tape as some manufacturers have incorrect dimensions. It is not the responsibility of Subsafe Audio to check dimensions that are provided. Pleasure measure the widest points on the subwoofer to ensure dimensions are correct. Subsafe will also not be responsible if the customer has not checked the placement of the hole pole position ie at the front or at the back of the subwoofer. This should be selected during customisation period.
5.14 Any discrepancies regarding provided dimensions will be compared against submitted dimensions on the completed customisation form which is saved within our data system. All values submitted via the customisation form are taken as being final. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that correct dimensions are submitted via the customisation form. Emailed dimensions are not accepted as being confirmed dimensions, they must be submitted via the online customisation form.
5.15 Any graphics or logos provided by the customer must be in a png/jpeg format. The quality of the graphics must be at least 300 dpi. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the quality is good enough for print. We can use a lesser dpi level and Subsafe are not liable for a lesser print quality
6.1 The Subsafe Audio logo will appear on all orders.
6.2 All design work for backgrounds and/or logos must be already designed and sent to Subsafe Audio prior to the commencement of designing ordered products. Any design work incurred by Subsafe Audio may subject to a surcharge.
6.3 Subsafe Audio maintain the ownership of all designed cutting files and all rights to designed Subsafes. Subsafe Audio maintain the right to not sending any design cutting files to any customer. This is due to Subsafe Audio using the most up to date computer programmes.
6.4 All fully ordered, completed and paid Subsafe design PDF’s will be sent once a month to the manufacturer on the last Sunday of every month.
6.5 All Subsafes carry an indefinite period for repairs, as long as it is a manufacturing error i.e. The panels come away from the hinge. Repairs will be considered on an individual basis. Repairs will only be carried out by Subsafe if the damage is a manufacturing fault by Subsafe. Repairs will be carried out to the best of our ability. However, at times panels and hinges may not be flush due to residual glue in hinges. Customers are liable for postage costs to Subsafe Audio.
6.6 Any graphics or logos provided by the customer must be in a png/jpeg format. The quality of the graphics must be at least 300 dpi. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the quality is good enough for print. We can use a lesser dpi level and Subsafe are not liable for a lesser print quality
6.7 Colours may differ slightly between completed products and customers proofs due to screen resolution.
6.8 All Subsafe product designs are made to sit flush on subwoofers that are completely square or rectangular. Other shaped subwoofers may result in hinge not sitting completely flush or with gaps showing. All designs are made using the measurements provided by the customer (as per 5.6). Subsafe Audio are not liable for any gaps that appear at the front of ordered Subsafes.
6.9 Booth panels are designed by customers themselves. If the customer proceeds to checkout and has not verified the design before proceeding to payment, Subsafe are not responsible for any amendments thereafter.
7.1 No orders will be placed with the manufacturer until the final proof is signed off via Adobe E-Sign by the customer and Subsafe Audio.
7.2 During the printing and assembly process, there may be traces of dust under the lamination of the panels. There also may be traces of adhesive left on the hinge/panels. This does not affect the product and no refunds will be due if this is found.
7.3 The surface and underside of any Subsafe Standard may show scratches which, due to the material that it is made from, is easily scratched and will be from the manufacturer and assembly processes. This does not effect the product and no refunds or discounts will apply to any Subsafe.
7.4 All hinges used in the manufacturing of products are black in colour. At present we do not offer any other colour. No refund will be given for customers who request a refund due to being unaware and wish a different colour.
7.5 There may be a slight movement or small parts of panels showing with the hinges during assembly when the hinges are applied to the panels. No refund will be given due to this and this does not effect the workings of the purchased Subsafe. All care will be given to ensure that the best application of hinges to the panels are made.
7.6 Our Subsafe products are hand made in Scotland. Due to this, each piece will vary slightly. Such variations are considered to be part of the attraction of these hand crafted products.
8.1 For all UK orders a delivery will be made via a 24 – 48 hour courier service. For all orders in Europe up to 6 business days and for all international orders up to 15 business days. Subsafe Audio accepts no liability or responsibility for goods not being signed for at point of delivery.
Please note that we DO NOT guarantee delivery dates as we can not give definitive dates when our products will be completed.
8.2 All orders are shipped from the UK and relevant shipping charges are advertised on our site, which are accepted once an order is made. Full payment for shipping must be made prior to Subsafe’s being sent to the customer.
8.3 Subsafe Audio are not responsible for the payment of any import tax incurred by delivery to the customer, both within the UK & overseas.
8.4 Subsafe Audio delivery prices are determined by third party brokers i.e. Parcelbroker and Transglobal Express. Prices are very competitive and subject to change at any time. Subsafe Audio use premium delivery companies i.e. UPS, TNT, DHL, FedEx
8.5 The postage cost of any sending of products is the responsibility of the customer. This includes sending any Subsafe products back to Subsafe Audio.
8.6 All costs of postage to Subsafe Audio are at the expense of the sender.
8.7 Booth panels will be sent direct from the manufacturer to the customer.
8.8 The delivery period of booth panels are 7 days from order.
8.9 The delivery period for a Rock n Roller is within 2 business working days
8.10 CHRISTMAS DELIVERY
For all orders that are required to be fulfilled in time for the 1st of December, all orders MUST be placed and signed off by the 1st of October. Whilst we will do everything possible to accommodate your request, we can NOT guarantee this unless your order is finalised by this date.
9. REFUNDS & RETURNS
9.1 All decisions regarding refunds and replacements made by Subsafe will be final. We will NOT enter into a discussion regarding our decision.
9.2 In the unlikely event that an order is sent to you in error, Subsafe Audio will cover the cost of rectifying the error.
9.3 Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you are not entitled to a refund due to a “change of mind”.
9.4 It is the whole responsibility of the customer to complete the customisation form and as such, if they do not carry out due diligence with completion of their customisation form and want their money back, this is not a reasonable grounds for cancellation and receiving a refund. Subsafe WILL NOT give a refund in this situation. Please note that the customisation form email will only be sent ONCE. Customers will have the 6-8 week period commencing from the day they sign that they are happy with the design. Once the order has been signed off, no refunds will be given. Subsafe will consider a refund within the first 30 days, as long as there has been no work carried out on orders. After this, unless circumstances are decided they are due a refund due to cancellation, the order will be processed as normal and no refund will be issued.
9.5 The customer has 48 hours upon receipt of their order to notify Subsafe Audio of any defects or damages. Subsafe Audio are not liable for any issues arising after the 48 hour time has lapsed.
9.6 It is the customer’s responsibility to inform the relevant delivery company of any damages to the received Subsafe immediately. All claims must be brought to our attention via email within 24 hours of delivery for damages. Failure to meet these deadlines will result in a claim application being rejected. Subsafe will not be liable for any communication between the customer and the delivery company.
9.7 After the claim period of 3 days, Subsafe will not be liable for any replacement of any received Subsafe and no monies will be refunded.
9.8 In the event of any damages, all packaging must be kept for inspection. The item must be available for inspection in the state it was delivered and at the address it was delivered to. If the item is moved, repaired or otherwise altered, or if the packaging is not kept, claims, replacements and refunds will be rejected.
9.9 The customer must sign ‘UNCHECKED’ for all parcels that the customer is unable to check when the driver delivers.
9.10 If the box or packaging is clearly damaged on delivery, it is of paramount importance that the customer signs for the delivery as ‘DAMAGED’, otherwise any claim for damage will be refused.
9.11 In the unlikely event of any returns to Subsafe Audio, no replacements or refunds will be given until the return of ordered Subsafes and delivery to Subsafe Audio. We WILL NOT make a replacement of any Subsafes and send to the customer without first seeing the damaged Subsafe.
9.11a The process for ALL damaged Subsafes is as follows. Please note that Subafe DO NOT send any products that are damaged and we have to investigate any reports with the delivery company :
– Contact Subsafe within 48 hours to advise of damaged Subsafe.
– Please keep ALL packaging for inspection.
– Subsafe will create a damage report with the delivery company.
– The delivery company will investigate any reports of damages and report back to us. Please note it will take up to at least 21 calendar days to review all details of a claim before you are contacted.
– Any damaged Subsafe MUST be returned to us in original packaging before we can issue any replacements (if applicable). Please note that any postage costs to Subsafe are payable by the customer and Subsafe will not reimburse any postage costs.
– Based on their decision, and on our investigation, we will decide if a replacement has to be made. (Please see points 9.1 & 9.22)
9.12 There may be slight variations with the material that Subsafe uses in the manufacturing of orders. Any variations in the material is out with the control of Subsafe and no refunds will be given.
9.13 Subsafe Audio holds no responsibility for incorrect information being provided by either customer or manufacturer of subwoofer or speaker companies. All dimensions provided are taken as being final. No refund will be given for incorrect information provided by a customer or third party person.

9.17 Subsafe holds no responsibility or liability for incorrect dimensions provided and no refund will be given. Subsafe Audio will not provide any replacement due to incorrect dimensions provided by the customer. Subsafe will not enter into any debates regarding the submitted form values.
9.18 A welcome email will be sent upon ordering of a Subsafe with details of how to proceed to the next stage. A second email will not be sent to remind the customer of what they have to do. It is the customers responsibility to check junk/spam folder for welcome email. Subsafe will not chase customers for their completed forms, this is entirely the responsibility of the Customer
9.19 Refunds cannot be given if the fault is a result of your own actions such as product misuse or if personalisation is mis-spelt or if you have uploaded an image of a low resolution or size.
9.20 Agreed refunds will be processed within 14 days.
9.21 Subsafe will refund the customer via the method that they paid. The amount that will be refunded will be the exact amount that was paid to Subsafe at the time of order. Subsafe will not enter into any discussion regarding refunds being made to different amounts or different methods.
9.22 Any remakes of any ordered Subsafe’s are liable to the 6-8 week period of construction & delivery
